Air Transat Jobs – Sales Analyst

Job Description:

Provide sales reports to support, monitor, and analyse sales activities. Working alongside the Commercial team nationally, evaluate and perform comprehensive analysis of operational and market competitive data to provide support/insight and develop sales initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Commercial Directors and coordinators, and the National Groups Director to understand; reporting and analysis needs and effectively respond to ad-hoc requests in a timely manner;
• Monitor and report on contractual commitments, identifying sales patterns and booking trends;
• Prepare business review presentations of sales and performance variances and liaise with account lead;
• Contribute to accurate budgeting and forecasting;
• Provide dedicated reporting and analytical support to a range of new and existing sales programs;
• Routine weekly, monthly, and yearly reporting & analysis for national and regional partners performance reviews;
• Ability to identify data anomalies, abnormalities and troubleshoot solutions from data resources;
• Help with Dynamics 365 CRM upkeep.
• Create, modify, and design report views, both current and alternative, to decipher trends and optimize usage, using the available business intelligence tools and sales systems. Liaise with IT to implement these changes;
• Prepare and present executive reports. Identify trends and explain results effectively to management;

Job Requirements:

• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills;
• Proficient communicator in both English and French.
• Ability to compile significant amounts of information into meaningful and relevant summarization;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills are necessary;
• A proven commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast paced, high-pressure environment, where accuracy is critical;
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications with exceptional skills in Excel;
• Degree/Diploma in Business with a concentration in Finance, Marketing or Statistics;
• Broad based experience in analysis with a solid understanding of business processes;
• Self-motivated and innovative with a strong internal customer orientation;
• A keen interest in market research and sourcing market intelligence;
