Job Description:

Prime Video is a premium streaming service that offers customers a vast collection of TV shows and movies – all with the ease of finding what they love to watch in one place. We offer customers thousands of popular movies and TV shows including Amazon Originals and exclusive licensed content to exciting live sports events.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to business and insights documents, drive and deliver strategic and tactical plans in close partnership with finance teams and provide regular updates to internal and external audiences including Prime Video leadership.
• Manage and support internal and external brand partnerships.
• Content and creative research for local marketplace.
• Helping to manage media agencies to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
• Original & exclusive content campaign marketing for South Africa.
• Brand strategy, research and campaign proposals for South Africa.
• Acting as POC for launch of global Originals in local marketplace.
• Work closely with global Brand, PR and Social Media teams to leverage insights and learnings.
• Proposing and executing on campaign strategy and planning.
• Evaluate, propose and execute brand building opportunities alongside content marketing strategy, including social media and PR/events.
• Regional POC for recommending brand positioning, segmentation and strategy to Prime Video leadership.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in creative marketing strategy development, ideally in the entertainment industry.
• Track record of combining data analysis and high judgement to deliver results.
• Experience working in South Africa in a nascent business.
• Confident communicator (verbal and written).
• Experience working in TV & Film, entertainment and new platforms.
• Experience working with large cross-functional teams and external partners, including creative and media agencies.
• Proven ability to develop and execute high-performing marketing campaigns on time and within budget.
• Track record of succeeding in fast-paced environments.
