Anglo Jobs – Protection Services Operations Superintendent

• Co-ordinate and plan work for the Protection Services shift through effective liaison with Supervisors
• Pro-actively identify and analyse risks and threats and recommend counter measures to prevent re-occurrence
• Continuously liaise with the Senior Superintendent on protection strategy and policies
• Work scheduling for a Protection Services shift
• Ensure that employees work in a safe and productive environment and set targets for improvements
• Develop a trusting and mutual respectful relationship with stakeholders
• Monitoring security indicators and trends in the operation and identifying optimization proposals

Job Requirements:

• Applicable firearm Unit Standard qualifications as well as Firearm Competency
• Valid driver’s license code B
• Valid public permit for code 10 & 14 an advantage
• Registered with the PSIRA grade A
• Knowledge in Investigation / Information gathering / Logistics and or Surveillance
• Handle and use of a Shotgun, Handgun and Rifle for Business Purposes
• Minimum 1st year completed towards qualification in Security Management / Investigation / Policing

Qualification & Experience:

• Tactical Unit Standard Qualification an advantage
• Grade 12
• Armed response qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Security in a similar environment
• 3 to 4 years’ experience in a supervisory position in a similar environment
