Job Description:
To provide efficient and effective procurement of goods and services (i.e. Low value risk) timeously, within budget and in accordance with procurement policies, procedures and practices
Job Responsibilities:
- Consults with supervisor to manage problems/risks and make recommendations timeously
- Negotiate and coordinate conclusion of the agreement with suppliers to meet customer expectations
- Build and maintain healthy interpersonal and inter-team relationships
- Execute integrated sourcing and procurement processes and follows prescribed procedures towards fulfilling procurement needs
- Execute purchasing of goods and services and manage procurement administration
Job Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of souring and procurement processes
- Basic knowledge of NEC family contracts and/or FIDIC
- Basic knowledge of SAP system
Qualification & Experience:
- Sourcing and procurement or related technical experience (2 years’ experience)
- National Diploma/National N Diploma in Transport / Commerce / Logistics /Supply Chain Mgmt at NQF Level 6 with 240 credits
