Job Description:
Our Kitchen Assistants ensure all back of house areas are kept clean, and observe COSHH and health and safety guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper storage of food and stock rotation
- To ensure compliance with all kitchen safety requirements
- Carry out general cleaning as directed by kitchen manager
- To ensure working environment is in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards
- To Report any maintenance and, or, hazard issues to the supervisor on duty
- To observe COSHH guidelines when handling hazardous substances
- To ensure the correct PPE is in place and guidelines are adhered to
Job Requirements:
- To work with the kitchen leadership team to develop a workplace culture that recognises and rewards good work
- To work with the Kitchen Manager to kitchen safety requirements are met at all times
- To be able that help team members to thrive at work allowing them to be their authentic selves
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in a quality production style / branded environment
- Basic Food Safety Qualification (or equivalent)
- Evidence of ability to lead change with new technologies and ways of working
