Job Description:

We are looking for a candidate to support and contribute to a small number of products or work streams relating to the design and implementation of Cloud solutions, operating across a number of Service Teams within Standard Bank South Africa, and proactively engaging with internal stakeholders in the delivery of Cloud solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and Implementation of Systems.

• Stakeholder Management.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in either Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics and/or Statistics.
• AWS Solution Architect (Associate), AWS Developer (Associate), AWS SysOps Administrator (Associate) – Required.
• Experience in create and maintain infrastructure scripts for cloud components.
• Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work with other engineering teams and architect to implement optimal cloud solutions.
• Ensure the guardrails of performance, scalability and uptime are maintained for implementation cloud solutions.
• Having managed the cloud environments in line with policies, standards and security requirements of the organisation.
• Experience in troubleshooting incidents, identify root cause, implement necessary improvements in conjunction with the Engineering Teams and Architect.
• Experience in contributing to Software development lifecycle for cloud solutions.
• Experience in developing cloud native solutions (Preferred).
