Momentum Careers Vacancies – Actuarial Specialist

• Provide support in the development and delivery of innovative products/benefits to meet profit requirements and in line with our strategy.
• Provide actuarial support in the management of the Myriad in-force product by identifying revenue opportunities and be able to obtain data to analyse the opportunity and to quantify the financial impacts.
• Stay abreast of the latest technology, research, innovations, commercial environment and the regulatory environment to understand and share how these impacts the product strategy.
• Develop, maintain and enhance supporting tools and calculators to support pricing, reinsurance and product management.
• Handle and resolve technical queries and/or complaints from internal (underwriting, claims, service etc) and external sources (financial advisors, sales consultants etc).

Qualification & Experience:

• At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in individual life insurance product development, life insurance pricing, life insurance product management OR
• Financial reporting OR Balance Sheet Management.
• Minimum Actuarial Science Degree
• Good progress with actuarial exams with completion of at least the Foundation & Intermediate Technical actuarial examinations (A1 & A2) as well as Actuarial Risk Management (A3). Completion of at least one F1 (Fellowship Principles) will be an advantage.
