Job Description:

This programme is a 1year work-based learning programme that assists graduates to prepare for the workplace and promotes access to increased employment opportunities within the Medical Aid Administration and Insurance industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with internal stakeholders to determine wellness events requirements and develop wellness plan
  • Demonstrating skills in using Company systems and showing understanding of the operational processes
  • Prepare files for doctors as well as primary health care clinic visits
  • Demonstrating commitment to working in the Medical Scheme Administration industry and attending all identified courses
  • Answering telephone calls, for clinic and helpdesk, keep record of all calls.
  • Emailing of prescriptions daily and follow up on home deliveries
  • Conducting COVID screening
  • Ensuring that all administration procedures are followed in terms of record keeping and within the required timeframes
  • Displaying a willingness to learn corporate values and technicalities and timeous completion of logbooks for workplace-based learning
  • Booking of Relay ambulance service for pensioners to and from clinic.
  • Acquiring the relevant practical experience and knowledge of Company products
  • Updating all relevant data
  • Bookings to different service providers

  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Outlook Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Qualification & Experience:

  • A related/relevant degree qualification
  • You must have completed your degree qualification
  • You must be a South African Citizen
  • You must be available from 01 March 2022 – February 2023
  • Health / Business Administration Bachelor’s  Degree
