New Look Part Time Jobs – Operational Project Manager

Job Description:

This is a senior logistics role that focuses on providing a key link between projects and the operational team. Acting as a conduit to work closely with the operational team and support functions delivering projects, whilst protecting the performance of the ongoing operation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate Project progress, incl. blockers/delays and successes
• Maintain project Documentation and Governance
• Liaise between various internal teams and stakeholder groups, as well as clients where relevant, whilst creating strong relationships
• Document and manage Actions, Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies
• Production of timelines, and definition of Deliverables and Milestones/Deadlines
• Managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure smooth transition to BAU, incl. Service Management
• Acting as coach, mentor and facilitator between the Operational and Support teams Planning, incl. clearly defining the project scope
• Support the Team in creating and maintaining best practices

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Logistics and/or Logistics systems essential
• Experience with IT tools and applications, e.g. JIRA, ServiceNow, etc. desirable
• Delivering results & meeting customer expectations through a team
• Experience in managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously essential
• A diligent and meticulous approach to quality
• Experience of dealing with competing priorities and managing own workload
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Great communicator
• Able to work on own initiative and to strict deadlines
• Enthusiasm, drive and a can do attitude
• Previous Project Management experience essential (minimum 5 years)
• Leadership skills with emphasis on team development and guidance
• Project Management certification(s) such as Prince2, Prince2 agile, PMP, APM essential
• Keen to support colleagues with their development as well as drive their own
