Job Description:

Old Mutual Finance is currently seeking to hire a Treasury Banking Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the OMF Treasurer to ensure effective control and administration of the treasury banking operations of the business. Ensure adequate compliance, monitoring, forecasting and minimise liquidity and cash flow risk. Supervise banking operations and support treasury operations. Ensure that all banking controls are adhered to.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures accuracy of financial transactions and reports.
• Ensures effective processes in place to manage banking and treasury requirements for the business in a controlled environment.
• Assist with audit queries.
• Reviewing of journals and bank and suspense recons.
• Maintain banking administration relating to changes in Banking signatories/Internet Banking limits & operator accesses.
• Responsible for maintaining Internet Banking platforms of all Banks.
• Manages daily functions for Treasury operations including banking, payments and cash flows management.
• Liaising with banking partners to obtain better interest rates and cost effective banking.
• Ensure accurate cash, funding & cash flow forecasting and efficient resulting investment/disinvesting obligations are actioned daily.
• Ensure FICA compliance on all bank accounts.
• Assists Treasurer in identifying opportunities to enhance interest by investing excess funds on short term deposit.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in finance banking processes including bank reconciliations, foreign currency translation and conversion, resolving bank discrepancies, negotiating on interest rates, networking & building relationships with Banking Partners.
  1-2 years managing a team.
• Experience in a finance banking environment.
• BCOM or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), Online Banking platforms.
