Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Management and delivery of resource-reserve mines plans.
• Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Reporting with full mine to mill reconciliations.
• Mineral resources and reconciliation sign-off.
• Ensuring compliance of resource estimates with international professional standards and government regulations for public disclosures by working with the wider MTS team.
• Contract management (external specialist etc.)
• Cost & budget management providing updates on actuals and forecast.
• Corporate governance and compliance.
• Performing geological and mineral resource/reserves estimations, modelling, reviews audits and due diligence assessments to maximize value from all assets.
• Conduct ad hoc resource reviews and audits – internally and externally

Job Requirements:

• Understanding of company strategies and performance indicators in business.
• General understanding of project management and application to mining projects.
• Effective communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills (verbally and writing),
• Review and interpretation of resource-reserve performance in business strategies and plans.
• Proficiency in computer and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project),
• Knowledge and experience in preparing and updating reserve technical reports and documentation to ensure compliance with ind

Qualification & Experience:

• Advanced Bachelor degree in Geology
• Formal professional or technical registration in appropriate area of expertise preferred.
• Experience in tabular commodities is mandatory.
• Certified Database and Geological Modelling Software User.
• Minimum ten (10) years’ work experience in Operations and Exploration including at least 7 years in resource modelling.
• Worked in underground operations and open cast/pit operations – Strong open cast/pit and underground hard rock experience at operating mines.
