As an integral part of the Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability of our production capabilities. We are looking for certified millwrights to support installing, servicing, and repairing plant equipment safely and efficiently while collaborating with a dynamic, positive team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Review and apply a continuous improvement mindset to safe work practices, procedures, and standards
  • Plan jobs, including assessment and selection of material
  • Commit to adhering to guidelines and maintaining technical and preventative records
  • Work closely with other maintenance and/or production technicians as required to ensure equipment/plant reliability
  • Work in a flexible team environment and promote the development, growth, and overall effectiveness of the team
  • Implement preventative and predictive programs/assignments for mechanical systems
  • Maintain equipment histories and complete equipment overhaul check sheets
  • Participate in post event analysis and root cause discussions and take part in developing solutions
  • Preform daily equipment lubrication rounds

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting and analytical skills as well as the ability to make timely decisions
  • Strong collaboration skills that enables you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
  • A deep understanding and demonstration of safe work practices

Qualification & Experience:

  • Five years of experience working as a millwright in a heavy industrial environment, working in steam turbines, reciprocating and centrifugal gas compressors
  • Experience with equipment lubrication programs or specialize in tribology
  • A valid Alberta Journeyperson Millwright Certificate or an Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright Certificate
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Level II/III Vibration Analysis certification
