Job Description:
Are you passionate about safety, maintaining process refinery machinery, and building positive relationships with your team? Then we have a role for you! As an integral part of the Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability of our production capabilities. We are looking for certified millwrights to support installing, servicing, and repairing plant equipment safely and efficiently while collaborating with a dynamic, positive team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
- Review and apply a continuous improvement mindset to safe work practices, procedures, and standards
- Plan jobs, including assessment and selection of material
- Commit to adhering to guidelines and maintaining technical and preventative records
- Work closely with other maintenance and/or production technicians as required to ensure equipment/plant reliability
- Work in a flexible team environment and promote the development, growth, and overall effectiveness of the team
- Implement preventative and predictive programs/assignments for mechanical systems
- Maintain equipment histories and complete equipment overhaul check sheets
- Participate in post event analysis and root cause discussions and take part in developing solutions
- Preform daily equipment lubrication rounds
Job Requirements:
- Proficient knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication, troubleshooting and analytical skills as well as the ability to make timely decisions
- Strong collaboration skills that enables you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
- A deep understanding and demonstration of safe work practices
Qualification & Experience:
- Five years of experience working as a millwright in a heavy industrial environment, working in steam turbines, reciprocating and centrifugal gas compressors
- Experience with equipment lubrication programs or specialize in tribology
- A valid Alberta Journeyperson Millwright Certificate or an Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright Certificate
- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Level II/III Vibration Analysis certification
