Job Description:

The Sills Development Facilitator will be responsible for the overall administration of the VKB’s Group Skills Development interventions including Skills Programmes, Internships and Apprenticeships whilst complying to B-BBEE Legislative frameworks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administration and revision of training providers identified to assist in Learnerships and Apprenticeships
  • Continuous development and revision of training programmes to assist VKB’s divisions in achieving their WSP and ATR targets
  • Compilation of WSP’s for the VKB Group to ensure compliance to SETA’s prerequisites
  • Facilitation of annual Training Needs for the relevant divisions within the VKB Group
  • Together with the Transformation Director: VKB Group and the Training Manager: VKB Group, plan and schedule relevant training interventions
  • Mentor and assist Interns and Apprentices with any queries and administration that may arise
  • Coordinate the process to ensure timeous submission of progress reports for Interns and facilitate interventions, should it be needed
  • Together with the relevant division, ensure that modular training for Apprenticeships complies with prescribed standards
  • Annual reporting on training interventions to Management
  • Monthly compilation of Skills Development reports
  • Using Sage 300: PEOPLE, continuously update and optimise the Training module to ensure effective reporting
  • Together with the Transformation Director: VKB Group, be the contact person for B-BBEE queries pertaining to training
  • Assist with Supplier Development to ensure optimal B-BBEE scoring
  • Continuous liaison with internal and external clients/departments pertaining the BEE status and documentation per division
  • Ensure sufficient recordkeeping and availability of evidence needed for B-BBEE audits
  • General office administration, being the right hand to the Transformation Director: VKB Group in scheduling training, meetings, record keeping, seminars and workshops
  • Be the contact point for internal and external customers when complaints may arise

Job Requirements:

  • Grade 12/ NQF4
  • BCom Degree (or relevant) in HR Management with preference given to Honours
  • Working knowledge of the following acts: Employment Equity, Basic Conditions of Employment, Skills Development and Labour Relations
  • 2 – 5 Years experience in the reporting of SETA Training and the compilation of WSPs and ATRs
  • Professional Registration: SABPP
  • Computer literate in MS Office with the ability to work on MS EXCEL on an advanced level
  • Valid Driver’s licence
  • Knowledge of Sage 300: PEOPLE will serve as recommendation
